Facial expressions

Don't laugh I found I'm not that good at them

So the one big problem I had was bloody teeth. I ended up doing quite tame expressions. Slight smiles but not much variation simply because her teeth looked weird. I got one expression with teeth that looks not to bad which is the shocked one in the top left but the other one I attempted which was supposed to be almost a 'You're as good as dead' face made her look like some kind of hillbilly, just because of the teeth. One tiny thing letting it down. I think it might be because my drawings are too small, that would make a lot of sense  and I think next time I'll do them bigger, also teeth are just too damn hard anyway so I think toothy facial expressions might help. Bigger drawings with more toothy expressions, scowls, fear, very happy those kinds of things. I think I'm getting somewhere with skin tone though. I started following the tutorial which I printed off and got to the 3rd stage which is adding a dark pink which is used for shaded spots. I started off round the hair but then experimented with lightly shading under the lips, above the eyes and around the nose and I think it came out quite well although I doubt you could see it in the picture. One expression I really really wanted to do was a slight side shot of Jen, shyly looking down moving a bit of her hair behind her ear with a cute smile. I thought that would look really nice but after the messing about I did with  these expressions and the trouble I had with head side shots I decided no....just not even going to attempt it. Would have loved too but no, maybe some other time but definitely not soon. Unless a miracle happens which it might because you just never know.

Ok this rotation issue is getting stupid now >:(
